This policy explains how Revebit (formerly HabitPuzzle), provided by Syksoft, handles information when you track habits and reveal photos.
The app stores your habit names, descriptions, completion history, goals, reminder times, settings, and completed reveal cards on your device. The app and its widget share relevant data through Apple's App Group storage to display your habits, images, and Pro status. You do not need to create a Syksoft account.
You choose images using Apple's system photo picker. This gives the app the images you select, not unrestricted access to your photo library. Selected images are processed on your device and saved for use in the app and widgets. Revebit does not upload them to Syksoft servers for analysis, and does not use a camera-capture feature.
Completed Reveal Shelf cards retain their own image snapshots. These snapshots can sync through iCloud when cloud sync is enabled, as explained below. Original images in your Photos library are not deleted when you remove content from Revebit.
If you enable Cloud Sync with Pro access, the app uses Apple's iCloud/CloudKit to sync habit records and completed Reveal Shelf cards, including their image snapshots, through your iCloud account. Ordinary habit and widget image files stored in the app's local image folder are not synced by this feature. Sync depends on your Apple account, device settings, network availability, and Apple's services.
Turning off sync does not itself erase existing iCloud data. Device backups are separate from this feature and may retain app data according to your Apple backup settings.
Apple processes in-app payments. We use RevenueCat to verify purchases, restore access, and manage Pro entitlements. RevenueCat processes an automatically generated app-user identifier, purchase and subscription records, and technical information such as app version and operating system. This identifier is not your Apple account email. Syksoft does not receive your payment-card details or Apple account password.
Habit names, completion history, and selected photos are not sent to RevenueCat by this app. Details about RevenueCat's processing are available in its privacy policy.
With your permission, the app schedules local habit reminders on your device. You can manage notification permission in iOS Settings. Exports are created when you request them; you choose where to save or share them and are responsible for those copies.
If you contact support, we receive the email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send, and use them to respond to your request. Avoid sending information that is not needed for support.
We do not sell your personal information or use it for cross-app advertising tracking. Apple provides purchases and optional iCloud storage, and RevenueCat provides purchase-management services. We may disclose information we hold where required by law. The current app does not integrate Firebase analytics or Firebase crash reporting.
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. See Apple's privacy policy and RevenueCat's policy for information about their services.
Habit data and images remain available for the features that use them until removed. Archiving a habit is not deletion. Deleting a habit does not necessarily remove previously collected Reveal Shelf cards or exported copies; manage those separately. Removing the app does not cancel a subscription or guarantee removal of iCloud data, backups, or purchase records held by Apple or RevenueCat.
Use the app's deletion controls and Apple's iCloud storage controls to manage your data. Contact us for help or to request access, correction, or deletion of information held by Syksoft or processed on our behalf. We may need information to identify the relevant record and may retain records where necessary to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. We cannot directly access or erase data held only on your device.
Depending on your location, you may have additional rights, including objection, restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent where applicable, and the right to complain to a data protection authority.
Revebit is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review the request and take appropriate action.
We may update this policy as the app changes. Updates will be posted here with a revised effective date.
